to Staniel Cay, which is 3 miles to the south. The boat ride from
Staniel Cay takes 15 minutes and floatplane charters from Nassau
and other islands in the Bahamas directly to Sampson Cay are possible.

The landing strip is located at Staniel Cay, just to the south of
Sampson Cay. All overnight guests will be picked up by boat and
returned after your stay. It is an enjoyable 15-minute boat ride.

Located 240 nautical miles from Fort Lauderdale, Florida, 67 nautical
miles southeast of Nassau, Sampson Cay is one of the safest anchorages
in the Exumas, and a natural hurricane hole.
The cruising grounds around the Exumas, which are scattered over
an ocean area of 90 square miles, are among the finest to be found
in the Western Hemisphere, if not in the world, for both sail and
powerboats.
